QUESTIONNAIRE

What is your earliest memory?

A red pair of shoes that were bought for me, sounds crazy, I know, I absolutely loved them. I thought I was badass and kept on looking at them. I cant remember the exact age. I think that's possibly where my love for shoes and fashion started.

What sort of child were you?

I was a quiet child, well so I have been told. I used to watch and analyse things around me. I was an only child until I reunited with my dad, new mum and 4 brothers only a couple of years ago. So pretty much all my child and adult life it was just me. As an only child I could pretty much have everything to myself. I spent a lot of time thinking and daydreaming, and put a lot of thought into the things I wanted and how I wanted them to look.

As a child I grew up very fast and had to see, hear and experience a lot of things. despite my early years being quite hard at times as we moved around a lot. I do remember it being happy and lots of laughs. Personally I think that dry wit has followed me in to my adult life too. I have been very lucky and blessed to have had some amazing people around me.

Who do you most admire?

Oh Maan that's tough there are lots of people, but in order to narrow it down, I guess....

My mum I love her, she is my pillar, my rock and her courage and strength never ceases to amaze me. As we have been discussing her recently, Oprah Winfrey is another person I have a tremendous amount of respect for as a woman and for what she has accomplished. I think she is massively inspirational across all levels and it doesn't matter what colour, race, religion you are she really motivates you to change the way you view yourself.

When did you last cry?

Recently I think, probably whilst watching a movie. I am quite an emotive person, so happy and sad occurrences both make me emotional. Like saying sorry, saying thankyou, saying goodbye, watching my family, being hormonal, I think you get my drift lol. sometimes you can feel better after you cry, it releases certain chemicals. Better out than in.

How do you relax?

I am always working, doing something, thinking that I need to do something, writing or making notes. The very rare times I do get to relax, I like to lounge into my comfi clothes, watch a movie /comedy. I have learnt to make "ME time". Relaxation these days usually entails a catch up with friends over a meal and we go through our wish list of things we really want to do and haven't had the chance to do in a while or at all. Then make time to do them.
